Ingrid Lyons is a Minnesota transplant originally from Brooklyn, New York. She decided NOT to go to vet school because science and math are hard, and instead graduated from Carleton College in 2015 with a bachelors in environmental studies and then the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota in 2018 with a certificate in non-profit governance. Ingrid can’t remember a time without having at least one pet, and plans to pursue further education and a career in animal welfare law and policy.
